4.23.07

It was a pretty typical Monday today... except that it started out slightly cooler and cloudier than expected and then it really warmed up and the sun came out. I surprised myself today in getting a 91% on my cell and molec exam! I've always hated when the very first thing in the day is getting an exam grade back because it tends to decide the mood of the rest of the day. I also received an invitation in the mail to my own bridal shower that my Mom, Aunt Susie, and my maid of honor--Alycia--are putting on for me! It is a very pretty invitation and I can't wait to go! In jazz we had our special guest Tom Washatka (sp?) make a visit and play with us for the first time. It was really fun and he is a great saxophonist. After class, I had to go and run our campus spring fire drills. A funny moment: I'm up on a floor with my big radio telling residents to leave the building and one girl actually asks "What's that?"--referring to the alarm. Wow. And then she continues to ask, "Do we really need to leave?"... again, Wow!

Well, wedding plans are going very well and we've got our flowers all picked out for the big day--they look so pretty! I'm so excited for everyone to see them! Tomorrow I get to look forward to a three-hour geology field trip! Yaaaayyyyy! :)

Well, that's it for now!

Days until the wedding: 54!!!
