Starting Anew
I guess I began slacking off a bit on writing blog entries... I haven't written one since Jan. 31!!! Then, after being questioned about it by a few fans (that I did not know I had) I decided that I needed to jump back into it. So, today is the first of what looks to be many new blog entries! So, what's going on around here!?!
- On Saturday, Jim ran in the Oshkosh Half Marathon, a 13.1 mi course that began right in the middle of Main Street and ended at the Leach Amphitheatre. I'm not sure who was more excited-- I ended up waking up several times before eventually heading over to Breese to join Jim and his dad for the trip into town... I guess Jim just couldn't go to sleep that night! I don't blame him but he did really good... he ran it in 1:41:?? !! Not bad at all! :)
- The wedding is only a couple of months away and I really wish it was closer! Jim and I received our first gift the other day! We were so excited, but weren't sure if there were rules about opening gifts before the wedding... but we couldn't help it... we opened it anyway! Otherwise, plans are really almost done! The only thing we're having difficulties about are the center pieces! So, if anyone's reading this and you've got some ideas, please let us know!!! :) Right now, Jim and I have entered a really fun time in the planning... where we buy gifts for all of our family and wedding party members!
- It's hard to believe that there is only a month (approximately 4 weeks) of school left!!! I feel like first semester was a year in itself, but this semester has been going pretty well. I'm really looking forward to this summer, however. After the wedding and the honeymoon, I plan on continuing my writing, doing a little art, visiting with friends and family, biking/hiking, playing my sax, and--of course-- having some fun with Jim! He and I joined a couple of softball leagues in town and will be cheering each other on for most of the summer! :) It's going to be a fun and relaxing summer!
